Malaysians Can Now Purchase Glasses For As Low As RM50 Under New Payung Rahmah Initiative
According to Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub, the Payung Rahmah initiative to help reduce the cost of living for the poor and B40 income group by offering discounted prices for meals, food baskets, medical treatment, and more is now expanding to include eyewear under the Rahmah Eyeglass Package.
According to a post on his official Facebook, he said the initiative was made possible through collaboration with eye care provider MOG Eyewear, which allowed the public to purchase eyewear priced between RM50 and RM100, as well as upgrade lenses to “blue cut lenses” with ultraviolet radiation protection for RM100. This package is available at 96 MOG Eyewear branches nationwide,” he also saidSalahuddin added that the Payung Rahmah initiative would be continued with various other attractive offers in accordance with the needs and wishes of Malaysians.
